Feather Sexable Means The Quail’s Gender Can Be Determined At The Age Of 3 – 4 Weeks By The Feather Pattern On The Chest

  • Female Coturnix Quail have “Speckles” on The Chest.
  • Male Coturnix Quail Have Plain Unmarked Feathers on The Chest.

If a Coturnix Quail is NOT a Feather Sexable Variety, It Must Be “Vent Sexed” which Must Be Done Usually At About 8 Weeks Old.
