Why do we call them "The Penguin Variety"? Because these Adorable Coturnix Quail look like little penguins when they hatch, and often still look like little penguins as adults! 

These Beautiful, DARK, Gentle Birds are an excellent choice for self-sufficient minded people anywhere in the country. They lay an egg almost every day, are friendly, quiet, and easy to keep. Easy to raise on a farm or in a city apartment.

Hatch true % :  50% (with Penguins, 50% will hatch out Penguin, 25% Rosetta and Tibetan, and 25% White)

The Penguin variety of Coturnix Quail is a blend of several different color combinations to achieve the Penguin look. Some chicks may hatch out with no Penguin markings, and some may even hatch out white. Don’t worry, these babies will grow up to be great egg laying birds, and meat birds as well. Chicks that hatch out with no markings will still produce Penguin markings when crossed with a bird that has the markings as an adult. It’s fun to play with colors, and not an exact science…enjoy your quail!

As adults, your quail will give you consistent, dependable egg production, calm temperaments, exceptional patterns and color variations. In the spirit of excellence, your fertile quail eggs are carefully packaged by us personally and shipped to you via USPS in foam blocks to ensure your eggs have the best chance to arrive unbroken.
